About the Houses
Located in the woods of Oak Hill, you can find these concrete structures at resemble “Elf Houses”. From what we could find out about the location we learned that the concrete structures were built by Manny Lawrence, also known as MD Lawrence. Mr Lawrence was an eclectic Floridian who also built the concrete dinosaur sculptures at the defunct Bongoland that is located in Port Orange, Florida. That is about all we could find out about the so called “Elf Houses”. If you have any information about these structures, please leave a comment below or send us an email. Mystery solved
These houses were part of the atomic tunnel that was supposed to be in port Orange it at the time of calculating mileage these houses were in oak hill fl as a tourist stopalong with bongo land.
If you Google atomic tunnel you will see a pamphlet on the atomic tunnel. It started out as a bomb shelter but then later designed as a tourist stop.
