The Crab Factory Restaurant
When driving along highway 98 in Apalachicola, FL, I came across this abandoned restaurant that sits right on the bay. It was almost completely hidden by the overgrown brush and pepper trees. Explore the remains of the building with the three 360-degree panoramic images in the virtual tour below.

About the abandoned restaurant.
As with many of the abandoned properties in the Florida panhandle, I could not find much information about this spot. However, I was able to find out that the owners of this place were the same owners of the Apalachicola Inn, Oyster Boss and Caroline’s Restaurant back in the early 2000’s. Now the property sits vacant and in decay, with homeless living there.
