About the abandoned location
Built-in the late 1960’s this was the old Dixie Elementary school that served North Titusville and Mims area of Brevard County, Florida. In 1984, Brevard County sold the property to First Franklin inc., which was based out of Virginia. The property was then sold again in 1993 to Eda Invest Corp out of DeBary Florida. In 2011, the property switched owners again. In 2013, a company called Long Island Realty International LLC. purchased the property. In 2021, the property changed hands once again to 2850 Counts Lane LLC. The property has been sitting vacant since around 2010-11 when the assisted living facility either closed or moved to a new location.
