About the abandoned hotel
This once-thriving 24-room hotel had a bar/lounge and restaurant with an amazing view of the river. It seemed like the property had some financial issues that may or may not have had to do with the 2018 Hurricane Michael that ripped through these parts doing some serious damages. As of 2020, the property has been purchased by a local investment firm with plans to remodel the site and bring life back to this amazing location directly on the river.
